Welcome to North Atlanta Endocrinology and Diabetes! Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We hope that you will find our site informative, educational, and helpful.

The practice was started in 1989 by Dr. David Arkin. Through the years, we have grown to six physicians who are all board certified Endocrinologists. We also offer the services of two nurse practitioners and a dietitian who are all Certified Diabetes Educators. Our Diabetes Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting national standards for Diabetes Self Management Education. Last but not least, we have added a Physician Assistant to our team who can provide care for your diabetes or endocrine needs. All of our providers are participating members of the American Diabetes Association. Our physicians are also participating members of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and The Endocrine Society.

Our Philosophy

We are a specialty practice that utilizes a teamwork approach to your care. As a patient, you may not see your physician at every visit as we will utilize the services of the Nurse Practitioners, Dietitian and/or the Physician Assistant to assist in your healthcare. We ask that our patients continue to see their Primary Care Physician for problems not related to our specialty. Even though we are the largest Endocrinology practice in North Georgia, we strive to give our patients individual attention.
