David B. Arkin, MD, FACE
Dr. Arkin completed his undergraduate degree in 1980 from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He then returned to Georgia where he attended medical school at the Emory University School of Medicine. After graduation from Medical School, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Emory Affiliated Hospitals.
In 1989, Dr. Arkin opened North Atlanta Endocrinology and Diabetes P.C. in Lawrenceville. He never imagined that his practice would grow into the largest private endocrinology practice in Georgia. Today, Dr. Arkin is one out of six physicians in the practice. Dr. Arkin is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. He is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. He maintains membership in the American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Dr. Arkin is originally from Savannah, Georgia. He is married to Dr. Eva Arkin and they have three children. In his spare time, you will most likely find him golfing, swimming, or cheering on his favorite teams.
