Kimberly Karlin BSN, RN, CDCES
After acquiring her Associate Degree in Nursing from Dekalb College in 1998, Kimberly worked in the Rockdale Public School system and eventually became their first District Lead Nurse. During that time, she continued her education and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Aspen University in 2020. Her diverse medical background also includes extensive experience in Otolaryngology as well as Labor and Delivery. However, it was her passion for Diabetes Care and Management that led her to become a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. In addition, she is also a Certified product trainer for Medtronic, Ominpod, Tandem, Insulet, Dexcom and Libre. She is currently an active member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and The American Diabetes Association.
When she isn’t working, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and their cats and dogs. She also likes to unwind by painting with acrylics and as a member of The Atlanta Kennel Club, Kimberly attends dog shows frequently.
